Bought this item for my Psion 5mx. It worked okay some of the time, but all too frequently writes failed and the Psion had to be turned off and back on again before the write could complete. Where writes were made via the connection to my PC (even with the Psion running off the mains!) a failure would mean having to restart the transfer from scratch, and made the card completely useless for particularly large files (ie files too big to store temporarily in the Psions internal memory).Amazon helpfully replaced the card, but the replacement was worse than the first. Bytestor themselves took too long to respond to my requests for information and assistance, and were not particularly helpful, sadly. If the cards werent actually faulty (arguable but probable) I suspect its power requirements may be too high for many devices; replacement with a similar Viking CF card (also available through Amazon, and which specifically claims to be low power) solved all my problems instantly. Conclusion: Must Try Harder.

Card Failure |
I have now had 3 of theses cards fail between 2 weeks and 5 monthes of use, resulting in loss of pictures.I am not impressed, they have now all been returned for a refund. and an alternate card purchased.

This compact flash is as fast as the the Canon CF card I got with my A80, but eight times the size. On the highest resolution and finest detail settings I can get 125 pictures on this card. Look at the price - fantastic!
